ENDEKO S. ENDEKO - CO-CHAIR (TANZANIA)

Endeko is a member of the Hadza tribe. He holds a Diploma in Governance & Development from the MS-Training Centre for Development Cooperation. He has worked as a Coordinator for the Hadzabe Survival Council of Tanzania and a Field Officer for the Ujamaa Community Resource Team. He has experience as a community mobilizer, lobbying and advocating for human rights and land rights all the way up to the Tanzanian National Government.

REGINA NADA SAFARI - ASSISTANT SECRETARY (TANZANIA)

Regina is a member of the Hadza tribe. She received a Diploma in Community Development from Taifa College of Technology. She has experience as a Community Coordinator, working with organizations such as Carbon Tanzania to help address the many challenges faced by her people.

JULIUS MADULU INDAYA (TANZANIA)

Julius is a well-known and respected Hadza elder who has been a leader of the Endamagha region for over 10 years. He has a certificate of Wildlife Management from Pasiansi Wildlife Institute and worked in Tarangire National Park as a Park Ranger. He is now retired and focusing efforts on preservation of Hadza culture and mobilizing his community towards rights recognition.


 
 

CHAUSIKU CHARLES (TANZANIA)

Chausiku is a Hadza mother of four and a recognized leader in her community. With a deep understanding of the needs of Hadza women and families, she serves as an advisor for Meleka's maternal & infant health, and women's and girls' empowerment initiatives.

RASULI HAMISI SALIMU - TREASURER (TANZANIA)

Rasuli grew up alongside the Hadza in Mangola and is a long-time friend of the community. He is currently a Hadza cultural tour guide and has over 10 years experience working with the tribe. He has previously worked with social welfare companies such as World Vision.
